Achieving better outcomes for all of our clients.

Additional Solutions For Better Outcomes

We offer a range of solutions that offer you, your loved ones, and your assets a broader range of protection than a standard Will can offer. These have an additional cost on top of the price of a Will, but in many instances provide benefits that outweigh the costs by 100 to 1 or more in certain circumstances. These solutions fall into four distinct categories, continue to read on for further information.

Goodwills Trusts & Will Trusts

Goodwills offer a range of comprehensive and flexible will Trusts which will assist with the Executors and other Trustees helping to minimalise the risk of sideways disinheritance, protect capital from assessment of capital when the survivor of a Joint Will has to go into long term care, protecting children, disabled, and vulnerable beneficiaries allowing others to look after the money on their behalf in a legal and protective way. Trusts can also provide inheritance tax benefits for future generations.

Trusts that Goodwills can offer are shown below. Prices include VAT were appropriate. Joint wills is the price for both wills, not each. FPMs is Future Proof Membership, further details can be seen below.

Lasting Powers of Attorney

It is critical that Lasting Powers of Attorney are in place should you lose mental capacity. Without these, nobody has the right to make decisions on your behalf, and who can make decisions will be determined by the courts, at a cost to your estate.

It isn't only older people who may lose capacity. You could be involved in an accident, or you could have early onset disease which is becoming more prevalent.

A Lasting Power of Attorney allows you to appoint people to make decisions on your behalf. There are two documents available. One for making Property and Financial decisions, and the other for making Health and Welfare decisions. Both are as important as each other.

Our professional fees for arranging Lasting Powers of Attorney are shown below. Prices include VAT were appropriate. FPM in the table is Future Proof Membership, further details can be seen below. The Office of the Public Guardian may also charge a registration fee of £82 on top of our prices, depending on your income.
